Long Time

It's been a very long time since I have added to this blog. Zoey is now a service dog and she goes everywhere with me. In a few weeks, she is going to church for the lesson that talks about being thankful for animals. I think the sunbeams will really like that. Nothing really new, just waiting for Brandon's results from the VA and the DOD. After he gets them, we do not know where we will be going, but when we find out, I will let everyone know. Hope everyone is having a good year and all is well.

Life in California

Life in California is getting interesting. I believe the rain is gone and hopefully the sun will stick around. Brandon's parents came and visited over the weekend and it was wonderful. I will say that last night was the first night in a long time that I slept well on a night before Brandon went to work. I sleep fine when he is home and he will be there in the morning when I wake up, but on the nights I go to sleep and he works the next day...I do not sleep. If asked if I sleep when he is at work and won't be home...that is a NO! Anyways, Madeline can say a version of Aunt Julie and that is absolutely adorable. Well, I have organized more of my stuff like outside in the storage unit and in the closet. I did a lot with Brandon's parents, but there is still a lot left to do. Well...I will blog later...

Countdown

Well, I have not updated this thing since I started it. Brandon and I have got the apartment and it is located somewhere in Temecula. I know the apartment number is #1112, but if you want the address, ask him. The move in date is November 2nd. We are really excited. All of the invitations that I want to mail out are mailed, however I have a list of people I need to hunt down and hand deliver. The amount of invitations I believe I have sent and need to deliver equal about 600. I am really done. I was given two bridal showers in Utah and the ward in Cali gave me a surprise one last Thursday and I got everything on the list for the bathroom decor. It was really a lot of fun and surprising. Brandon and I were also surprised with a 4 day 3 night get away to a condo in San Diego that someone in the ward owns and rents out; but they love my family enough to let us go for free. So, that's where the honeymoon will be. It would have been longer but it will be between the two receptions. It is really exciting. Well, I am gonna go box up some more of my clothes and move things around so that my room can look really bare. It will be a big change to see nothing in the closet, nothing on the floor, and nothing in any drawer in there. An exciting change; yet kind of scary.

Brandon and I are really excited to know that everyone will be coming out for the wedding; we hope everyone has a safe trip and has a safe time here. See ya soon!

About Me

My photo
Brandon and I met in California at a really rather interesting event. Ask Brandon, he'd love to tell you more. Julie graduated in June with her AA in Interpreting for the Deaf. Brandon enjoys his job at the prison and gets away with texting during work hours. He also makes the drive from Camp Pendleton to Palmdale about three times a month depending on his work schedule.
